Parent Roster starts in Term 2! It is a wonderful opportunity for you to see your child in action at Kindy, to gain some insight into relationships that are developing and to witness the learning that takes place. Parents are welcome to join the program, assist in tasks such as chopping the fruit for shared morning tea, and to play!
We encourage parents to speak with the teacher about other ways in which you can contribute to the program during roster, such as sharing a special skill, activity, or occupation with the group.
The staff greatly appreciate all the help that they receive and the children enjoy playing with their parents and showing them the Kindy.
Parental involvement is beneficial to children’s education and development, and regular contact with the child’s teacher/ educator builds trusting relationships.
